For the Love of Books!

Hi, Cub Scouters! Just a reminder that OCTOBER'S PACK MEETING IS TUESDAY, THE 21ST FROM 6:00-7:00 P.M. AT THE CHURCH. We want to welcome our newest cub scouts Alex Orr and Jake Melancon! We also have two new Webelos leaders: Dan Huff and Dan Snell; welcome! We can't wait to have all of you join us! We truly appreciate our former Webelos leaders Derek Swaner and Richard Lemon; thanks so much, you will be missed.
Do you love a good book? Books teach us and take us on adventures. Books help us discover new places and tell us about real life heroes. You may have talked about books in your den meetings this month or maybe recently visited the library. At pack meeting we'll be having more fun with books! October is a great time for a costume party. PLEASE COME TO PACK MEETING DRESSED AS YOUR FAVORITE CHARACTER FROM A BOOK. We will have a costume contest. Be creative!
WEBELOS - You have flag ceremony, so wear your scout shirt under your costume. You can remove your costume for flag ceremony and then put it back on afterwards. Thanks!
TRIVIA AND A TREAT - Here is your Trivia & a Treat question: "What is the name of the man who was the founder of scouting and considered the 'Chief Scout of the World'?" Please write your answer on a piece of paper, fold it up, and bring it with you to pack meeting. There will be a box to put your answer in at pack meeting; toward the end of the meeting, if your answer is right, you will get a treat. Good luck! Hint: here is a picture of the man.
